I grew up in New Providence, NJ. Early on, I developed a deep appreciation for art, color, and light and have always enjoyed drawing and designing. Importantly, I find working with my hands to be rewarding; delivering a high-quality finished product is satisfying to me.

I started painting houses in my twenties and have met sophisticated clients and designers along the way; many increased my awareness of fine home design. I also learned how harmonizing is far more interesting than matching colors. My training in faux finishes only augmented my desire to deliver the highest quality product to clients.

Many members of my team have been with me for a number of years. Others have been hand-selected by me in order to maintain the highest standard of quality in our approach.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren (Emerson, Charlotte, Hayden, and Camila), playing the guitar, and spending time by the water.
